Gabby Douglas to appear on The Vampire Diaries
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Gabrielle Douglas will make a guest appearance in the seventh episode of season four of The Vampire Diaries.
The episode is slated to air Nov. 29 and she will not be playing herself.
Nina Dobrev hinted at Douglas’ Atlanta visit on Tuesday evening, when she tweeted: “@gabrielledoug is coming to The Vampire Diaries set tomorrow! Cant wait to meet and work with you girl! Dont forget to bring your bling!
Though details of Douglas’ appearance were scarce, the casting should not come as a surprise.
In August, the cast of The Vampire Diaries made a congratulatory video following Douglas’ gold medal performance in the Olympic all-around gymnastics finals. Douglas and executive producer Julie Plec also communicated via Twitter about a possible cameo in the new season.
The Vampire Diaries returns Oct. 11 on CW27.
