Outer Banks Seafood Festival in Nags Head this weekend

The Outer Banks Seafood Festival will be this weekend, and you won’t want to miss out on what’s in store!

‘It’s the inaugural Outer Banks Seafood Festival this Saturday. There will be entertainment, fresh, local, seafood, a bit of education and storytelling about the region’s fishing heritage, cooking demonstrations, local craftspeople and a fun family activities.’

‘Nearly 20 local restaurants will serve their signature dishes, featuring only fish and seafood caught along the Outer Banks. Festival-goers can purchase food and beverage tickets and sample a variety of dishes – including crab cakes, shrimp bisque, fish tacos, mahi mahi quesadillas, fried and grill scallops, grilled tuna and wahoo, blue crab chipotle salad, and much more.’

Each hour will feature a different local band, including Blind Prophets, Aquarium, Old Enough to Know Better, Molasses Creek, and The Crowd.  

Event Location: 6800 S. Croatan Hwy, Nags Head, NC 27959 (Windmill Point location on the soundside of the main bypass, MP 16.5)

Date: Saturday, Oct. 20

Time: 11am-6pm

Cost: Free admission.

People will purchase tickets for $1 each and use them to buy dishes (avg prices $3-5) from the 17 local restaurants on-site.
